Deputy Minister Mduduzi Manana visits Bartimea School for the Deaf and Blind in Thaba Nchu, 27 Jun

Deputy Minister Manana to visit Bartimea School for the Deaf and Blind in the Free State Province as part of his nationwide campaign to promote “Post-School Opportunities for People with Disabilities".

The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mr Mduduzi Manana, MP, will visit Bartimea School for the Deaf and Blind in Thaba Nchu, in the Free State Province on Tuesday, 27 January 2017 as part of promoting the "Post-School Opportunities for People with Disabilities” campaign.
 
The purpose of the campaign is to encourage learners to take up career opportunities along critical and scarce skills and further advise them on ways to apply for available funding targeted for people with special needs.
 
The PSET institutions such as Universities, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges, Sector Education and Training Authority’s (SETAs), National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) and the department’s Khetha Career Development Services will be exhibiting on the day.
 
The campaign will contribute to the government’s intention of mainstreaming issues of persons with disabilities in the Post- School Education and Training (PSET) sector.
