Deputy Minister Manana to launch his Education Sunday Career Guidance Programme at Oasis Church in Umlazi Township
The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mr Mduduzi Manana, MP, will be visiting the Oasis Church in Umlazi Township, KwaZulu-Natal Province on Sunday, 19 February 2017 to launch the Education Sunday Career Guidance Programme that will be rolled out throughout the year.
The purpose of this programme is to create awareness, inform and educate the church community targeting youth, parents and guardians in organised formations such as churches about opportunities within the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) sector.
The PSET institutions such as universities, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges, Sector Education and Training Authority’s (SETAs), National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) and the department’s Khetha Career Development Services will be on sight to exhibit.
