Deputy Minister Ayanda Dlodlo attends unveiling of Sesona Bhayibhile in Plettenberg Bay

Public Service and Administration Deputy Minister, Ayanda Dlodlo, will attend the unveiling ceremony of Sesona Bhayibhile who
was raped and killed on 7 December 2014.

A small ceremony will be held to dedicate a bench and plaque with Sesona’s parents and sibling to honour the memory of little
Sesona as part of the 16 Days of Activism Campaign.

The unveiling coincides with an Imbizo to be held in Bitou with the Kurland community. The Imbizo is an effort to engage and empower
the community to play an active and meaningful role in the work of government.

Deputy Minister Dlodlo is returning to the Bitou community after holding an outreach programme in June as part of Youth Month
commemoration celebrations and activities throughout the country.
