The Deputy Minister of Transport, Ms Sindisiwe Chikunga, will embark on a Youth Career Imbizo on Saturday, 25 March 2017 in Perdekop, Mpumalanga.
The initiative will expose the community including the youth to education, careers and business opportunities available in the government and private sector.
The Youth Career Imbizo comes as a result of numerous engagements between Deputy Minister Chikunga and Perdekop community before and after the 2016 local government elections.
Service delivery and the development of the community were amongst the needs identified during the Deputy Minister’s interaction with the community.
The imbizo will assist in addressing some of the needs of the community in particular relating to opportunities which they are not aware of.
