Arts and Culture to host Wellness Day for staff as part of Active Lifestyle Promotion Programme

The Department of Arts and Culture (DAC), in partnership with Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), Virgin Active and Mamelodi Sundowns Legends will on Friday, 19 May 2017 host a Wellness Day for staff as part of the Active Lifestyle Promotion Programme at TUT Main Campus.

The programme amongst others seeks to promote Active and Healthy Lifestyle in a bid to enhance Individual Physical Wellness and to promote Africa Month activities.

Activities of the day include: Fun run / walk, Cultural Performance; Aerobics Master Class; Netball challenge; DAC Soccer Team vs. Mamelodi Sundowns Legends; Awards ceremony.

The Department of Arts and Culture recognises and acknowledges that the improvement or decline in health and wellness of its employees has a direct impact on its perfor­mance.
