Report an occupational disease to the Compensation Fund

You must inform the Compensation Fund when your employees contract a disease or die after being exposed to a health hazard in the workplace.

Occupational diseases are illnesses caused by substances or conditions that the worker was exposed to at the workplace.

You have to report the occupational disease within 12 months of the injury, diagnosis of a disease or the date of death.
