President Jacob Zuma will deliver an address at the Day of Reconciliation celebrations at Ncome/Blood River, as part of promoting reconciliation and nation building in the country in the era of freedom and democracy.
The President will officially open the bridge that joins Ncome Museum and the Blood River Monument. The Battle of Blood River has been commemorated separately on each side of the river each year. President Zuma will also officially open phase two of the Ncome Museum.
This year's National Day of Reconciliation is held under the theme: "Social Cohesion, Reconciliation and National Unity in the 20 years of Democracy".
