The Customs and Excise Amendment Act 89 of 1971 intends:
- to amend section 51 of, and Schedules Nos. 1 to 7, inclusive, to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964;
- to empower the Minister of Finance to amend certain Schedules to the said Act with retrospective effect; and
- to provide for incidental matters.
