The Black Laws Amendment Act 76 of 1963 intends:
- to amend
- the Native Labour Regulation Act, 1911 [repealed in 1964],
- the Natives Taxation and Development Act, 1925 [repealed in 1970],
- the Native Trust and Land Act, 1936 [repealed in 1991],
- the Natives (Urban Areas) Consolidation Act, 1945 [repealed in 1986],
- the Prevention of lllegal Squatting Act, 1951 [repealed in 1998],
- the Black Authorities Act, 1951 [repealed in 2010],
- the Black (Abolition of Passes and Co-ordination of Documents) Act, 1952 [repealed in 1986], and
- the Urban Black Councils Act, 1961 [repealed in 1977];
- to authorize the transfer of certain farms in the districts of Rustenburg and Brits;
- to authorize a partner to a customary union to claim damages from any person who unlawfully causes the death of the other partner to such union; and
- to provide for the construction of the word "native" in laws and documents.
